OAU 200 Level student Killed during Robbery attack in Ile-Ife(Must Read)
A 200 level student of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile-Ife identified as Bunmi has been reportedly murdered by armed robbers during a robbery attack in Ile-Ife and later died at the late hours of 22nd December, 2018.

FULCRUM TIMES gathered that he was attacked by armed robbers in a popular hostel, Adams and Eve located at the outskirts the school’s campus. Bunmi popularly known as TERMUR was hacked down by cutlass.

According to an eyewitness who spoke FULCRUM TIMES told our reporter that these armed robbers attacked the particular room he was; possibly his girlfriend’s room, he thought.

Something occurred within the room which led to him dragging with them. In this process, he was hit with cutlass on the head and he did not survive it as stated by the eyewitness who prefers to remain anynonmous.

In a telephone interview with one of the student leaders on campus; Samuel Dunnex expressed his dissatisfaction and sadness on this incident. He described it as a black xmas gift.

This is very bad and unfortunate. As activists, that’s why we have always complained bitterly about the accomodation policy of the school and this is one of the effects, insecurity of lives, he stated.

Samuel appealed to the police and concerned bodies to look into this matter, investigative and ensure that culprits are arrested and prosecuted within the shortest time. He also advised the management to work on its accomodation policy and ensure that security of students lives is taking as a top priority.
