A News Telegraph journalist Adejumo Kabir by name,a student of Obafemi Awolowo University and also a Press man was abducted for two days in Lagos by “one chance” .
The journalist, who is billed to join crew to
Sahara Reporters citizens journalists training in Lagos today, was said to have been abducted since Wednesday 3rd May, 2017 at Chevron Lekki, Lagos.
Adejumo, returned to his Lagos home earlier this morning after being robbed of all his monies and other valuables.
While giving account of his experience, Adejumo said :
“I was picked at Chevron bus stop, Lekki in Lagos on Wednesday .
Immediately I entered the bus I lose consciousness, until I was driven to a nearby lagoon. They beat me, which made me submissive to their orders, collected my phones, wristwatch and even my ATM and pin. They ensured that the account was dry before returning the ATM. I just got freed this morning, right now I’m at home, disturbed and can’t go out today ” he said.
